MY STRENGTH COMES FROM HIM

I may look strong but am frail inside.
My strength comes from Him who has promised to abide.
To walk me through every storm of life.
To see me thru every trail and all strife.

I lean hard on Him when I cannot stand.
His strength's infused as He takes my hand.
When I go to Him, He will never fail.
He makes me strong, though I am so frail.

I don't look down at the valley deep
I don't look around at the waves that creep
I don't look in where my fears may hide
I just look up and in Him abide.

That's how I surf my waves and ride my storms
That's how tho I feel frail, I look so strong!
That's coz He's taught me to lean on Him
That's how I make it thru thick and thin!

Yippee!!! I am MORE than a conqueror!
I can do ALL things!
He is ABLE to do MORE than I can ASK or THINK or IMAGINE.
Not just for me....but for u too!!
Try Him!

GO! SHINE IN THE DARKNESS!

How can I be light when I'm cloistered in the Church?
How can I be light when I leave darkness in the lurch?
I need to step out into the darkness to be
The light that Father commanded Jesus, now me.

Jesus said: You are the light of the world, go and preach
We say: Darkness come here, come to church, hear us teach
Isn't that backwards, turned right around?
No wonder the lost stay lost and never get found

We sing: Light of the world, You stepped out into darkness
Yet we won't dirty our feet to follow His steps
We sing all our songs and preach all our sermons
While the dying keep walking to eternity in hell.

Let us remember that Jesus said: Go!
Carry your light into darkness and show
That light conquers darkness like I conquered hell
If it only steps out into darkness to tell.

So let's leave our cloister, let's do what He said
Let's lay down our lives for those living, still dead
Let's walk into darkness and turn on the light
By living like Jesus in the world's constant night.

Jesus said: You are the light of the world. Let your light SHINE...
Then He said: GO into all the world and preach the gospel....

LET'S DISH OUT SOME LOVE!

Some Christians get delivered from smoking
Some brag that they never touch wine
These two seem to be most remembered
And used as spirituality's plumb-line.

But what about anger, and what about hate
That's dished out in secret as juicy gossip on a plate?
What about selfish living and pride
That behind our Sunday masks do hide?

Let's rip off that mask, and dish out some love
Let's lift each other up, reflect Father above.
The prodigal smelled piggish, was untouchable too
But the father reached out saying: I love you, as you!

In Matt 5:16,46 Jesus said:
Go, and do likewise.
